As Co-CEO and Chief Content Officer of Commonwealth Magazine since 2021, Sara Wu spearheads digital innovation and media transformation in the age of AI. By merging deep-dive journalism with data-driven technology, she ensures that credible information continues to command attention and drive public impact. With over 30 years in the field—including a seven-year tenure as Editor-in-Chief—they have consistently reported from the front lines, documenting Taiwan’s critical position in the global economy.

Dr. Lun-Wei Ku is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, and also serves as a professor at several universities, including National Tsing Hua University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and Chang Gung University. She is one of the leading internationally recognized scholars in Taiwan’s natural language processing and artificial intelligence communities. She served as Program Chair of ACL 2024, becoming the first scholar working in Taiwan to hold this prestigious role in the conference’s 60-year history. In recent years, she has focused on large language models, misinformation and scam prevention, and has actively advanced the application of AI in journalism, public communication, and industry, earning numerous prestigious awards in Taiwan and abroad.

As a veteran media professional with over 30 years of cross-media experience, Wen-Chun Lin has advanced from a field reporter to an executive leader. Lin has served as Executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief at China Times Group, Next Media’s Apple Daily, and Next TV, and is currently the Editor-in-Chief of ETtoday. Since taking on the role of Editor-in-Chief at ETtoday in 2018, Lin has driven organizational transformation, restructured reporting teams, and cultivated owned content while pioneering diverse formats, including podcasts, short videos, online courses, and political-economic programs. In 2023, Lin established an AI task force and have twice secured grants from the nDX Digital Innovation Grant Program, continuing to lead digital media innovation.

During John’s 30 plus years of career as journalist and editor, he covered various area, from semiconductor, computer, communication, software to internet. He has done one on one interviews with numerous industry heavyweight leaders, including Bill Gates, Andy Grove, Larry Ellison, John Chambers, Michael Dell, Steve Wozniak, Jerry Yang, and Jack Ma.
In addition, he has also done quite a few international special reports exploring the competitive edge of countries like Israel, Finland, Singapore, and South Korea regarding their respective technology development.

John got his bachelor’s degree in Power Mechanical Engineering in Tsinghua University, and his master’s degree in Journalism in Taiwan University.

Throughout his multifaceted career, Shin-Tsung Chen has worn many hats. His wide-ranging experience spans roles as a community development worker, legislative assistant, presidential campaign staffer, journalist, researcher, as well as news producer and broadcast host.

She transitioned from a seasoned beat reporter into pivotal management roles, overseeing financial news, digital operations, and the Media Lab. Whether she is reporting from the field, managing websites, or driving digital transformation within the organization, her commitment has never wavered: to deliver trustworthy news and bridge the gap between quality content and the public.

Nico Fang is a veteran journalist with three decades of experience. Grounded in her academic roots in economics and sociology, she utilizes investigative journalism to navigate the balance between market efficiency and social equity. A specialist in wealth inequality, class mobility, and environmental economics, she currently leads the award-winning non-profit newsroom “The Reporter” as Editor-in-Chief. In addition to her editorial leadership, she shares her expertise as an adjunct professor of financial news writing at National Taiwan University.

Je-Bing Huang previously served as the editor-in-chief of various magazines, a newspaper journalist and editor, and the deputy editor-in-chief of a news website. Has been awarded the Golden Tripod Award for column writing and the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) Award for Excellence in Commentary. He authored books including ‘News Never Dies, Just Gasping’ and ‘The Future of Media: A Vision’, and currently holds the position of editorial consultant at CommonWealth Magazine.

A tri-region licensed CPA (Taiwan, China, and the U.S.), Elaine Kung brings a wealth of cross-disciplinary experience to her roles as an independent director and industry mentor. She has a command of the critical financial and operational factors that drive media success, overseeing everything from taxation and legal affairs to labor relations and capital financing. Beyond her operational prowess, she excels at navigating government relations, strategically influencing policy and legislation to create a more favorable environment for the cultural and creative sectors.
