非營利組織 Trusting News 近期調查得出一項重要結論：讀者希望新聞記者主動揭露工作使用人工智慧。Trusting News 創辦人喬伊·梅爾（Joy Mayer）不久前在調查記者與編輯年會（Investigative Reporters and Editors Annual Conference, IRE）中引用牛津大學路透新聞研究所（The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford）2024 年 5 月的研究並指出：「許多民眾大概知道記者已經在使用 AI，但對於這代表什麼、會呈現什麼樣貌仍感到相當困惑。」
