尼曼新聞實驗室：普立茲獎得主首次揭露其在報導中使用人工智慧
2024普立茲新聞獎（Pulitzer Prizes）於5月6日公布，這也是首次有得主揭露其有使用AI來製作他們的報導。哈佛大學尼曼新聞實驗室（Nieman Lab）採訪了獲獎的記者，以了解他們如何將機器學習融入他們的調查，以及其他媒體可以從中學習到什麼。

While young Taiwanese users discuss everything from relationships to celebrity gossip on Threads, the app has gradually become a gathering space for progressives, who favor independence from China to defend the island’s democracy. Despite Meta’s pledges to tame down political content on its platforms, Taiwanese users are flocking to Threads specifically for that purpose. Meta did not immediately respond to a Rest of World request for comment.
新聞自由需要更多制度性的支持
「無國界記者組織」（RSF）日前公布最新的「世界新聞自由指數」（2024 World Press Freedom Index），再次凸顯了新聞自由在全世界面臨的嚴峻挑戰。從中，我們看到許多國家的新聞自由狀況江河日下，另一些國家則是新聞自由前景不容樂觀，提醒我們需要更加堅定地捍衛新聞與媒體自由。
2024年世界新聞自由指數 超級選舉年政治干擾增加 亞太地區媒體環境惡化
「無國界記者」（RSF）於每年的世界新聞自由日（5月3日）發表「年度世界新聞自由指數」（World Press Freedom Index），調查180個國家與地區的媒體環境。根據2024年報告顯示，其中台灣排名第27位，較2023年躍升了8個名次；香港排名135位；中國排名第172位。
