An experiment finds small changes in framing and word choice can elicit significant changes in how science skeptics engage with news coverage of climate change.
1993年，聯合國大會宣布將每年的5月3日定為「世界新聞自由日」，旨在提高新聞自由的意識，並提醒各國政府重視言論自由。國際非政府組織「無國界記者組織」（RSF）同日公布了《2022年新聞自由指數》報告，並以「兩極化的新時代來臨」為當今全球資訊傳播現況，做了註解
「新聞自由指數」調查了180個國家與地區的新聞自由情況，由最佳到最差依序可分為五個等級，分別是「狀況良好」（Good situation）、「狀況尚可」（Satisfactory situation）、「有問題的」（Problematic situation）、「情況嚴峻」（Difficult situation），與「極其嚴重」（Very serious situation）。
