Nigeria’s cybercrime reforms leave journalists at risk

The Cybercrimes Act is tragically familiar to Nigeria’s media community. Since its enactment, at least 25 journalists have faced prosecution under the law, including four arrested earlier this year. Anande Terungwa, a lawyer for Onitsha, described the law to me as a tool misused to “hunt journalists”.

More Koreans still prefer watching new films in theaters: survey
調查指出：越來越多韓國人偏好在電影院看新片
According to the survey conducted by consumer research institution Consumer Insight of 1,064 Korean moviegoers aged between 20 and 64, 37 percent said they prefer watching new films in theaters, whereas 33 percent said they only watch new films when they are uploaded on streaming services. Another 10 percent said they watch Youtube creators’ reviews to learn about new movies.
