“The results show that the ability to correctly identify whether news sources do their own reporting is limited — and also varies widely by source,” reads the report. “Around half or more correctly identify that ABC News (56%) and The Wall Street Journal (52%) do their own original reporting, while 51% know that Facebook does not do its own reporting.”
